Canyon Trails Ranch
Horseback Rides
Come and join us for a horse riding adventure through the breathtaking Canyons of the Ancients National Monument. We offer three different rides, where you will be accompanied by a knowledgeable wrangler who will guide you to explore the sites of the ancestral Puebloan people who lived here a thousand years ago. Our educational and guided trips typically depart between 8:00-9:00 am.
Horse Trailer & RV sites
We are situated in a remote, high desert, red rock canyon on a 250-acre horse ranch. The Canyons of the Ancients National Monument trailhead and ancestral Puebloan sites are only a five-minute walk from our campground.
We offer Horse Trailer and RV sites with water and electricity,
but no sewer.
Glamping Wagons
PIONEER and RANCHER:
Our Shepherd Wagons offer
cute and unique glamping options. We have two small wagons available. *Sleeps two people per wagon.
CONESTOGA:
If you're looking for something bigger, our Conestoga Wagon might
be perfect for you.
*Sleeps four people.
Tent Sites
We have basic tent sites with access to shared amenities. At our secluded campground, you can enjoy the views of red rock canyons and the Sleeping Ute Mountain at a quiet, rustic, cowboy campground.
Carriage Shop & Repairs
See the onsite working carriage shop with over 400 wheelwright tools from the late 1800s.
Wagon sales, restorations, repairs, and wheelwright services are available.
Chuckwagon Catering
We offer custom chuckwagon catering for special events using our authentic late 1800s chuckwagon as the perfect backdrop for a memorable event with
dutch-oven meals.
